DESCRIPTION:Formerly known as the Run to Remember\, Celebration to Remember provides the community with an opportunity to personally honor the life of a loved one\, and create a legacy in their memory through fund raising for the Anderson Foundation for Parks & Recreation Playground Fund.\n\n\n	\n		\n			\n			\n				\n					\n						\n						New for 2014!\n\n						\n\n						ALL PARTICIPANTS\n\n						A designated tribute area will be available at the event for everyone to post pictures or place memorabilia of someone special to them.\n\n						HONOREES ONLY\n\n						In addition to the tribute area\, Honoree family and friends will be encouraged to place items and signs of their honoree along a designated area on the course.\n\n						\n\n						Note: The park district is not responsible for personal items at the event.\n						\n					\n				\n			\n			\n		\n	\n\n\nThe deadline to nominate your loved one as an official event honoree (fee associated with marketing benefits) closed on July 1\, 2014.
