DESCRIPTION:The Reggae Run was started in October 1994 by family and friends of Maria Olberding to commemorate her life. Maria was slain in May 1994 while running near her residence in Mt. Lookout. A native of Cincinnati\, Maria is an alumna of Roger Bacon High School ('85) and Xavier University ('90). Maria loved to run. She was a member of the first women's cross-country team at Roger Bacon High School and was training for a marathon at the time of her death.
