The Anderson Township Historical Society continues its schedule of summer activities at the Miller-Leuser Log House on Sunday, August 7. Come visit this historic gem in our community. The Log House is a restored 1796 pioneer home at 6550 Clough Pike, just east of Bartels Road. Open Houses are held by the Society from 1 pm to 4 pm the first and third Sundays of the month through October. The public is invited to tour the Log House, furnished in 18th and 19th century antiques, and to stroll the grounds, exploring the barn, outhouse and corn crib. Stop by and visit this unique, historic building. Come see our displays that highlight the farming heritage of Anderson Township. Members of the Historical Society will be on hand to show you around and answer any questions. Admission is free and there is ample parking. Group tours through the Log House are also available with advanced reservations.
