Anderson Township Veterans Memorial Dedication Ceremony
Anderson’s new memorial honoring veterans will be dedicated at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at Anderson Center.The collaborative project spanning many years raised $85,000 for the Anderson Township Veterans Memorial. Anderson Township, American Legion Anderson Post 318, Anderson Park District and the Forest Hills School District all participated in planning or fundraising. Large donors Pinnacle Entertainment and Kroger also contributed toward the effort, along with many individual givers.The memorial stands in front of three flagpoles already existing on the plaza, with five pillars representing each branch of the U.S. military.Anderson Township Veterans Memorial D...Date and Time
