About Your Chamber
The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce exists to advance and promote businesses in the Anderson area, enhancing our communities, where people live, work and prosper.
The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce (AACC) will be recognized as the premier organization and leading catalyst for providing support and resources to member businesses in order to sustain and grow a robust local business community. AACC will seek to maintain and enhance a strong, vibrant and socially responsible business climate and consistently work to build value for all members.
The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to support and promote businesses and organizations in the Anderson area. Since 1970, the Chamber has been a great way for businesses/organizations to market to the Anderson area community. The Anderson Area Chamber is a medium chamber with nearly 500 members, serving Anderson Township, Newtown, Mt. Washington and western Clermont County. Anderson is approximately 15-20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati and is bordered by the Ohio River to the south, the Little Miami River to the west, Newtown to the north and Clermont County to the east.
The Chamber works with Anderson Township, Forest Hills School District and Anderson Township Park District for business and community related activities. The Neighborhood Business District program sponsored and produced by the Chamber also involves partnering with the Anderson Township, Anderson Township Fire & Rescue, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Village of Newtown, Newtown Police Department, Little Miami Fire & Rescue, City of Cincinnati (for Mt. Washington), Cincinnati Fire Department and the Cincinnati Police.
The Chamber produces the annual AACC Annual Awards event, a Golf Outing, Party on the Plaza, Anderson's Got Talent, Anderson Area Pizza Showcase, Community Day at Belterra Park, and Holiday Cheers. The Chamber also partners with the Anderson Park District, Anderson Township Government and American Legion - Post 318 for the large community event, Greater Anderson Days.
Business education is a big part of what we do at the chamber. We provide a monthly Professional Development Series, which includes: Lunch N’ Learn, Employment Law Issues Roundtable and Marketing Roundtable. These one hour sessions take place the third Tuesday of each month and are catered by LaRosas Pizzeria. In addition the chamber hosts Monthly Membership meetings throughout the year on the first Thursday of each month at Anderson Center that are great for networking.
The Chamber supports the Partners in Education program of the Forest Hills School District as well as underwrites scholarships for each local high school. Community activities are promoted through our website, on our social media pages (Facebook and Twitter) and weekly emails with information supplied by the organization.
