2nd Annual Music with a Mission Concert

Please join us for our Music with a Mission Concert this Sunday, Oct 18th featuring a fun afternoon of choral music from an ecumenical gathering of choirs and musicians from churches that support IPM.  We hope to see you there with your free will "voting" $$$ to support your favorite!

AN EXCITING MUST ATTEND EVENT!
 
Designed to benefit the Inter Parish Ministry Choice Food Pantry, the "Music with a Mission Concert"  is an exciting program of fun with music from choirs and musicians.

Kristy Swift, Music Director at Newtown United Methodist Church is coordinating the choirs, which will include  Armstrong Chapel UMC, Clifton UMC, Clough UMC,  Hyde Park Community UMC and Newtown UMC who will each sing music of their choice.  Well known violinist Jiyong Atkinson will also perform.

David Meredith, former IPM Executive Director will emcee the event asking members of the audience to "vote" with cash or check donations after each performance to support the work and programs of IPM.

The event will conclude with the entire ensemble of choirs performing "One, Faith, One Hope, One Lord" by Craig Courtney (Lorenz) and "No Time" arr. by Susan Brumfield (Colla Voce 21-20114) under the direction of Ben Basone, Music Director at Armstrong Chapel and Neal Hamlin, Music Director at Hyde Park United Methodist Church.  

Refreshments will be served in the church atrium following the concert.
 
There is no charge for the event.  However, attendees will want to 'vote'  for their favorite choir with dollars to support IPM and thank the musicians as we try and beat last year's total of $7,000 raised.
