    About Us

Beechmont Players, Inc. is a volunteer community theatre organization which enriches and supports the Anderson community, Greater Cincinnati theatre community, and the sustainability of the dramatic arts through education and appreciation.

Beechmont Players, Inc. is the community theatre group serving the eastern section of Greater Cincinnati beyond the Little Miami River. The 100+ members of this non-profit Ohio corporation donate their time and talents to bring live theatre to the nearly 200,000 residents of the area.

BPI performed its first production, Solid Gold Cadillac, in the fall of 1959 and has presented seasons of shows ever since, having performed for more than 100,000 people. This season marks the Players’ 63rd year of continuous community entertainment and their 15th full season as the Arts Organization in Residence at the Anderson Center. BPI’s state-of-the-art 223-seat Anderson Center Theatre home provides an outstanding venue for Beechmont Players’ award-winning entertainment.

The Greater Cincinnati area is one of the strongest centers of community theatre in the United States. Beechmont Players, Inc. is a member of the Association of Community Theatres of Cincinnati (ACT), the Ohio Community Theatre Association (OCTA), and the American Association of Community Theatres (AACT). The Players participate actively in these associations, including presenting an excerpt of one of the season’s shows at the OCTAfest competition each summer.
